This notice describes information handled by the directory, including contributions, corrections and the technical requests needed to deliver a page.
The publisher and your questions
The publisher is Stringcourse LLC, Providence, Rhode Island, United States. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to openings@thecoveregister.com. Please identify the relevant page or contribution without adding passwords, payment details or unnecessary identity documents.
Information you choose to submit
A review can include a display name, email address, rating, title and account of an experience. A correction or message can include your name, email and the information needed to investigate it. The email field is used privately for administering a submission; it is not included in the public review record.
How contributions are used
Submissions are used to moderate the community section, investigate corrections and communicate about the request where appropriate. Approved reviews may display the submitted public name, review text, rating, company and date. A review is a contributor’s account; publication does not prove that a purchase occurred.
Technical delivery and abuse prevention
Cloudflare provides hosting and request processing. Infrastructure providers process connection information such as IP address, request headers and service logs. The application uses a protected derived value for rate limiting rather than intentionally publishing an IP address with a contribution. This does not mean the hosting provider receives no connection data.
Storage and browser functions
Administrator sign-in uses an essential secure session cookie. Public browsing does not require a customer account. This edition does not intentionally load advertising pixels or third-party audience analytics. If a later feature introduces such processing, the notice and any required choices should be updated before it is enabled.
External destinations
Telephone, email and website links are handled by your device or the destination service. Those organisations apply their own policies. We do not control the information you subsequently give them.
Access, correction and retention
Contact the publisher to ask about a contribution or request correction or deletion. Reasonable checks may be needed to protect another person’s information. Records are retained only as needed for moderation, operation, resolving disputes and applicable obligations; there is no promise that a public copy already obtained by another person can be retrieved.
